My story began two years ago when I received a call informing me that it was time to make my debut, but I wasn’t ready yet. The Renegade in me kept them waiting for a week and a half, until I was geared up to make my grand entrance into the world. Them, refers to the two people that I live with and who work for me. I call one Rah-Rah as in a cheer and Da-Da as in Ta-Daa. The three of us are learning about life together, with plenty of fun, missteps, and adventures along the way. Since I’m still figuring out the world around me, and learning new things everyday, I have an endless supply of questions beginning or ending with what, where, and why. Rah-Rah and Da-Da named me G-Boy because I came out singing and plucking my red guitar and haven’t stopped since. I like singing silly songs about people and animals; life’s adventures growing up, and the unfairness of the word no.My theme song around the house is a little ditty about my two favorite pastimes: Playing guitar and rebelling against authority. Three things you should know about me: I like helping, unless it’s to clean up the toys in my room, my favorite word is treat because it usually turns to eat, and I think tickling is one of life’s simple pleasures. Join myself and The Renegades on our daily adventures, and stay tuned for our future recordings!
My theme song is performed by Anne-Marie Akin, one of many amazing singers from my preferred listening CD, Wiggleworms Love You.
I was born on Ol’ MacDaddy’s Farm in the rough and tumble area known as Pig-Sty. Growing up in Pig-Sty wasn’t easy. For one, the place smelled like pig farts all the time. Plus, Ol’ Mac could only afford to feed us the scraps from whatever he ate. Once, for three weeks straight, all we ate was sardines, beans, and six-day old greens. My octo-mom worked three jobs for me and my seven brothers and sisters. Rhyming and rapping about my hard-knock life was a way for me to express myself, and I was the best on the Farm, until 2Gut , a pig from the West side of the pen started showing off his rhyming skills. We used to battle out our raps onstage late at night, it was all good fun. One time we decided to collaborate on a rap called “Snout it Out”, which became an underground hit on the Farm. We were just about to sign a record deal with Big Bad Boy Wolffy Records when I started having a hunch that Ol’ MacDaddy was going to turn me into bacon. Wolffy helped me escape to the street, where I started selling hi-grade truffle oil to make ends meet, and that’s how G-Boy’s Rah-Rah found me. Three things you should know about me: I love truffles (fungi, not chocolate), I think Miss Piggy is hot, and believe pig idioms are underrated.
My story starts South of the Equator in the sky-high mountains with a breathtaking view of the ocean. I used to run with a tight-knit herd of llamas back home. My parents thought I was destined for greatness, so they sent me to an exclusive, all-male boarding with my brothers and cousins. It was there that I honed in on my inner happiness, and grooming skills. As a result, my brothers used to spit, kick, and neck wrestle me, but I just smiled and tried to teach them the ways of peace and compassion. Eventually I had had enough and my teachers decided it was time for me to go and spread the word of peace. My distant cousin, Cammy Cameltoe, invited me to stay with her at G-Boy’s, while I plan my “Unleash the Peace” tour. I have a penchant for gold and red textiles, and have thought about starting my own line of hand-knit scarves. My favorite movies are: Seventy Years in Tibet, Eduardo Scissorhands, and Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert Table. Dolly Parton is my favorite actress and singer, and I hope to some day visit her amusement park in the Great Foggy Mountains. Three things you should know about me: I believe happiness and hairiness are life commitments, I wish vests looked good on me, and I never miss an episode of As the Wool Spins.
Leaving behind all that I’ve ever known hasn’t been easy. I still miss my family, girlfriends, and the majestic beauty of The Motherland, but I came here to pursue my dreams of being a famous “entertainer-in-the-arts” as I like to call it.
I love to sing Calypso music, paint on canvas, and act. My cousin Babar helped me audition for the role of Bart Simpson’s pet elephant on The Simpson’s, but I lost it to Stampy. After that, I decided to go public with my paintings, and even made a debut at The Googleheim. Then a friend of mine suggested joining her on tour with Cirque de Exploite’, a Ring-A-Ding-Ding Brothers production. That lasted two months too long and then I quit. Just recently, I recorded the song, “Hey-Yo, I’m on a Banana Seat Song” at G-Boy’s home recording studio, and haven’t left since. Frankly, I don’t think I ever will. Entertaining G-Boy is fun, I gripe on Skype with loved ones back home, and Notorious P.I.G. is kinda cute. Three things you should know about me: I believe animals have rights too, I enjoy squirting unsuspecting passersby, and I love to eat….roughly 300 pounds of chocolate, cheezy puffs, and chowder every day.
